The ingredients needed to make Chicken Kofty:

  1. {Take of Chicken : 2 breast pieces of 1 chicken.
  2. {Get of Salt : 1.5 + 1 tsp.
  3. {Get of Red chilli powder: 1.5 + 1.5 tsp.
  4. {Prepare 1 tsp of Turmeric powder.
  5. {Take of poppy seed paste (khashkhash) : 1 + 1 tbsp.

  7. {Get of All spices (garam masala) : 1 tbsp + garnish.
  8. {Make ready of Roasted Gram flour (bhuna baisan) : 2 tsp.
  9. {Prepare of onion (pyaz) : 1 large chopped.
  10. {Prepare 1 cup of tomato paste.
  11. {Make ready 1 cup of yoghurt (dahi).
  12. {Make ready 1.5 cup of water.
  13. {Get of chopped coriander leaves : for garnishing.
  14. {Get 3-4 of whole green chillies (green chilli).
  15. {Take of roasted cumin(zeera bhuna) : 1 tsp powder.
  16. {Make ready of ginger paste (adrak) : 1+1 tsp.
  17. {Prepare of garlic paste (lehsan) : 1+1 tsp.

Steps to make Chicken Kofty:

  1. In chopper; add boneless chicken, salt 1.5 tsp, red chilli powder 1.5 tsp, khashkhash 1 tbsp, coriander powder (dhanya powder) 1 tbsp, cumin powder (zeera), Gram flour (baisan) ; 1,1 tsp ginger and garlic paste (adrak aur lehsan), all spices.
  2. And chop well until well combine.
  3. Make balls approx. 12 of equal size Refrigerate for 20-25 mins.
  4. Fry in preheated oil until golden brown on low-med flame Set aside.
  5. In wok, add oil, saute garlic paste, add onions cook until golden brown, add ginger paste and cook for few mins.
  6. Add tomato paste, poppy seed paste1 tbsp and cook for few mins.
  7. 1.5 tsp red chilli powder, salt 1 tsp, coriander powder 1 tbsp, turmeric powder and cook for 5 mins approx.
  8. Add beaten yoghurt and cook for 5 mins approx until oil separates on med flame.
  9. Add kofta, water and whole green chillies ; cook on medium flame 20 mins approx..
  10. Off flame, garnish with chopped coriander leaves and all spices powder.
